WanderWild, previously known as WanderWoman/WanderFellow, is a soft and dreamy whipped tallow designed for normal to sensitive skin featuring our signature balanced fatty acid oil blend and is lightly scented (1-2%) with organic essential oil – featuring Lavender or Orange Cedar scents. The blend of plant-infused jojoba, rosehip and sweet almond oil was carefully chosen and formulated to make this balm a great choice for daily face use or for use as an all-over balm. The ingredients all have low comedogenic ratings, so this is not likely to clog pores.

Available in Lavender or Orange Cedar.

Lavender

Lavender does more than just provide a lovely aroma, as it is known to have soothing and calming properties.

Lavender Ingredients: Tallow**, Jojoba Oil*,  Rosehip Seed Oil*, Sweet Almond Oil*, Plantain (Plantago major), Yarrow Leaf and Flower (Achillea millefolium), Hibiscus Flower (Hibiscus sabdariffa), Wild Chamomile (Matricaria discoidea), Lavender Essential Oil (1%)*. 

Orange Cedar

Sweet Orange oil is known to have antioxidant properties and promote clear looking skin. Cedarwood is known to have soothing benefits and to promote healthy looking skin and hair.

Orange Cedar Ingredients: Tallow**, Jojoba Oil*, Rosehip Seed Oil*, Sweet Almond Oil*, Plantain (Plantago major), Yarrow Leaf and Flower (Achillea millefolium), Hibiscus Flower (Hibiscus sabdariffa), Wild Chamomile (Matricaria discoidea), Atlas Cedarwood Essential oil & Sweet Orange Essential Oil (2% total)*.

How to Use

With clean, dry hands, apply a small amount (start with a pea-size or less) to face or body & massage until absorbed. For best results, apply to clean, damp skin or after toning mist.

Caution

Use only as directed. Avoid contact with eyes. Consult your doctor for use in children or if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition. Discontinue if adverse effects appear.

Note

Balms vary batch to batch and may be softer in winter months due to the natural variation in the tallow. The oil percentage remains the same to ensure consistent absorption. Temperature fluctuations during shipping can cause texture changes, but should smooth out quickly when applied.

Tallow

Tallow is certainly seeing a lot of buzz these days, but it’s been used as a skin moisturizer by various cultures around the world for ages! Slow-rendered in house using only the hard, nutrient-rich fat that surrounds the kidneys (suet), all of our tallow comes from a family-run cattle farm in Delta Junction, Alaska.

Carrier Oils

Our whipped tallow balms feature a signature balanced oil blend. After countless hours of research, pages and pages of calculations for each fatty acid and vitamin level, and numerous formulations, we chose to combine tallow with organic, cold-pressed jojoba, rosehip seed, and sweet almond oils to achieve a smooth, rich texture that’s incredible for your skin. Adding these gives the tallow a boost of vitamins A, B, C, E, zinc, copper, and chromium, as well as linoleic, linolenic and gadoleic fatty acids.

For those needing to avoid almond or rosehip oil, Resurrection uses organic, cold-pressed jojoba oil as the only carrier oil with the tallow.
